STLTG’s Telescopic Handler Transformed Infrastructure Development in Venezuela

Our advanced telescopic handler was selected to tackle the project’s most demanding tasks—lifting 6-8 ton steel trusses and roofing modules to heights of up to 18 meters with precision, all while navigating a tight and dynamic construction site.

Meeting the Challenge Head-On

The Zulia region’s harsh conditions demanded more than just raw power—they required intelligent engineering. Our telescopic handler was equipped with a reinforced cooling system capable of withstanding temperatures up to 55°C, ensuring uninterrupted operation even during the peak of Venezuela’s scorching dry season. When the rainy season arrived, the machine’s anti-slip stability control and humidity-resistant camera systems kept operations running smoothly, preventing costly delays.

Beyond environmental resilience, compliance with Venezuela’s updated NORVEN 2024-7 safety standards was non-negotiable. Our engineering team worked closely with local regulators to ensure the telescopic handler met all requirements, including a bilingual operator interface and an advanced load moment indicator to prevent overloading—a critical feature given the project’s tight deadlines.

Seamless Deployment and Unmatched Performance

Before the machine even arrived on-site, our team conducted a detailed 3D simulation of the logistics hub’s layout, mapping over 1,200 potential lift paths to optimize efficiency and safety. This pre-planning proved invaluable when the handler was called upon to install 28 steel trusses in just two days—a task that would have taken significantly longer with traditional cranes.

Local operators were trained using virtual reality simulations, ensuring they were fully prepared before ever stepping into the cab. Once on-site, the telescopic handler quickly became the backbone of the project, completing 9,217 lifts without a single safety incident. Its ability to maneuver in tight spaces allowed work to continue even when other heavy equipment was undergoing maintenance.

A Partnership That Extended Beyond Delivery

The true measure of STLTG‘’s commitment was seen in the post-delivery support. When a minor hydraulic alert occurred during a critical phase of construction, our 24/7 Spanish-speaking technical team guided the local crew to a resolution within two hours—far faster than any local service provider could have managed.
